PowerPoint Presentations (or similar types of presentations) are one of the primary tools for used to provide live continuing education courses. For this reason, they are also one of the most common educational tools used as a resource when building online courses. With Table Mesa, we support two different methods of turning a PowerPoint into a virtual course.

Turning a PowerPoint into a series of images

1. Open up your presentation in its application

2. Save As/Export your presentation in a picture format (either JPG or PNG). You will want to make sure that each slide is saved or exported as its own image. Support documents for doing this in PowerPoint are provided below.

3. Go into the course builder and create new pages, and upload each slide as an image, filling the whole page. Then add your quizzes and tests and you're done!

Pulling the text from a PowerPoint

1. Open up your presentation in its application

2. Select and copy the text from the first slide

3. Go into the course builder, create a new page, and paste the text. You can then format it and add images as you see fit.

4. Repeat this process until all slides in your presentation have been copied to a new page. Then add your quizzes and tests and you're done!
